I started with the club in 2017 when I was looking for a better opportunity for my coaching career.  I started from the ground up to help build a strong olders program on the girls side.  One step at a time and one promotion at a time, we gradually moved our girls program into the Elite Platforms ultimately getting accepted into the Girls Academy League for 2024-25, along with having additional Elite Platforms with a total of 18 teams in the Academy Program.

The people make SoCal Reds FC special.  The coaching staff, players, parents, office staff and everyone that comes together to make this opportunity possible.  To be able to work in the sport that I love and with like minded people, helps create a positive healthy environment for everyone.

Specialties & Strengths:

• I have a passion for the game of soccer and coaching.  Since my days of playing I have committed myself to giving back to the game and the community.  I believe in technical training, “possession-with-a-purpose” style of soccer, strong defense, creative offense, teamwork and the freedom to play! 

• I enjoy and love helping players play at the next level!

About:
With over 30 years of playing experience (youth, college and semi-pro) and 20+ years of coaching at the highest levels, I bring a proven record of developing players from the grassroots to the international stage. I have coached youth, high school, collegiate, and professional players, including members of the Women’s Mexican National Team and professionals in Spain, Costa Rica, Brazil, England, Iceland, and the U.S.

My strengths include player development, program building, and fostering strong relationships with college coaches, club directors, and families.

Above all, my purpose is to serve the youth community through the game of soccer and help players discover their passion and potential on and off the field.

My favorite Futbol team is Barca, but I am also a big supporter of our Men and Women US National Teams! My favorite player is the one that shows the most respect, effort and teamwork to help the team be successful. I love all food, mexican, sushi, spanish and Italian.
