The Girls Academy is one of the leading national platforms for elite female soccer in the United States, connecting top clubs and players through high-level competition, national showcases and player development opportunities.
With competition from U13 through U19, the league gives SoCal Reds FC players the opportunity to test themselves against some of the strongest teams in the country while gaining exposure to college and national team scouts.
Through league play, regional events, national showcases and talent identification opportunities, the Girls Academy creates a pathway for our players to compete, develop and pursue their ambitions at the next level.
Girls Academy Aspire serves as a second tier to the Girls Academy League. Aspire provides a high-level development environment for emerging female players who are working toward the next stage of their soccer journey.
The program gives players the opportunity to train and compete in a challenging environment alongside like-minded athletes, developing the technical, tactical, physical and mental qualities needed to progress. Aspire creates a pathway for players to continue their development and work toward opportunities within the Girls Academy and beyond.
DPL Open provides a competitive platform for female players and clubs looking to compete at a high level while continuing to develop within a strong, player-focused environment.
The competition brings together ambitious teams from across the country, providing meaningful games, exposure to different styles of play and opportunities for players to challenge themselves against quality opposition.
For SoCal Reds FC, DPL Open adds another important pathway for female players to compete, develop and progress toward their individual goals.

TOURNAMENTS
Throughout the year, our teams compete in a variety of tournaments across Southern California and beyond.
These events give players the opportunity to test themselves against new teams, experience different styles of play and put their training into action in a competitive environment. From local events to larger tournaments, every experience is designed to challenge players, build team unity and create memorable experiences together.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Competitive Program gives players of all ages and levels the opportunity to be part of a team, compete throughout the year and develop in a professional soccer environment.
Players train multiple times each week, compete in a structured league system and take part in tournaments and meaningful games throughout the year. Every session and match is an opportunity to improve, build confidence, learn how to work as part of a team and develop the habits and character that extend far beyond the field.
Our goal is to create an environment where players can enjoy competing, challenge themselves, build lifelong friendships and learn valuable life lessons through the game.
WHO IS IT FOR?
For players ages U6–U19 who are ready to be part of a team and enjoy playing competitive soccer.
Players should have some previous soccer experience, be ready to train multiple times each week and commit to practices, games and tournaments throughout the year.
Whether your child is taking their first step into competitive soccer or continuing their development at a higher level, Competitive provides the environment to learn, compete, grow and build towards their next step.
WHAT PLAYERS GAIN
Players gain more than just soccer skills. Through regular training, competition, tournaments and being part of a team, they learn to live our core values of Ambition, Commitment, Dignity and Unity.
