BECOME A YOUTH REFEREE TODAY!
Updated: Sep 7
The SoCal Reds FC Youth Referee Program gives players the opportunity to grow
both on and off the field while giving back to the soccer community. Through officiating recreational league matches, players can strengthen their understanding of the Laws of the Game, develop leadership and communication skills, mentor younger players, and gain valuable experience for their future.
As youth referees, players build confidence, character, work ethic, and game awareness while learning to make decisions in high-pressure situations. The program also provides resume-ready experience, a pathway to advance through the US Soccer Referee Program, and the opportunity to earn money officiating games.
By becoming a youth referee, players gain a deeper understanding of the game while becoming stronger leaders within the soccer community.
