Joslyn Dawes Commits to Cypress College

The SoCal Reds FC family is proud to celebrate an exciting achievement as Joslyn officially commits to continue her academic and athletic career at Cypress College!

This milestone is a reflection of Joslyn’s hard work, determination, and commitment to her development both on and off the field. Through her dedication to the game and her willingness to continually improve, she has earned the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level, and we couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.

Over the past year, Joslyn has made a tremendous impact within the SoCal Reds FC program. Her versatility, leadership, and commitment to her teammates have helped her grow into a player capable of making a difference in multiple positions on the field. Whether creating opportunities in the midfield or attacking in the final third, Joslyn’s soccer intelligence and technical ability have consistently stood out.

Carlos Gonzales, College Placement Director and Head Coach, shared his thoughts on Joslyn’s accomplishment:

"Jos is a great player that can play multiple positions. She can play center midfield or outside forward, and her passing and shooting abilities are some of her biggest strengths! She is a smart player with a high soccer IQ, and that will take her very far. Let’s Go Jos!!!"

As Joslyn begins this next chapter at Cypress College, we know she will continue to grow as both a player and a person. Her work ethic, passion for the game, and commitment to excellence will serve her well as she takes on the challenges and opportunities of collegiate soccer.

We are grateful for everything Joslyn has contributed to SoCal Reds FC and are honored to have been part of her journey. Watching players achieve their goals and continue their careers at the next level is what the SoCal Reds pathway is all about.
