Mohamed Sultan Shines on International Stage

SoCal Reds FC proudly announces that Mohamed Sultan, a standout midfielder from the club’s U17 MLS Next squad, earned his first international call-up for the Egypt U17 national team. Sultan made his debut on September 3, 2025, in a friendly match against Saudi Arabia.

Playing 70 minutes in the center midfield role, Sultan marked the occasion in style by scoring a goal in his first appearance. Reflecting on the milestone, Sultan said:

“I was honored to get called up for the Egyptian national team and I was so excited to play my first game in which I scored. I want to thank my dad, my family and coaches for supporting me.”

The club celebrates his achievement, noting this is only the beginning of what promises to be a bright future for the young talent.
