Congratulations to Gabriel Garcia of our B13 MLS NEXT HD team on being named Player of the Month!

Gabriel has demonstrated exceptional resilience and ambition, proving that setbacks can become opportunities for growth. After courageously stepping up to take a late penalty in a tied match, he refused to let a missed opportunity define him. In the following game, Gabriel responded in the best way possible; scoring the opening goal before adding the game-winner later in the match.

"In a recent league match, we were tied 1-1 when we were awarded a penalty in the final moments of the game. Gabriel showed real courage and ambition by stepping up to take the penalty. Unfortunately, he missed—but what stood out most was his response. Rather than letting that moment affect him, Gabriel bounced back immediately. In the very next game, he scored the opening goal within the first 15 minutes and went on to score the winning goal late in the match. This is a perfect example of our core value of Ambition—having the bravery to take risks, face challenges head-on, and respond positively to setbacks." — Coach James Curry
