Team of the Month: GU11 Pre GA – Surf Cup Champions

SoCal Reds FC is proud to recognize our GU11 Pre GA squad as this month's Team of the Month following their incredible Surf Cup Championship victory.

While the championship trophy represents an outstanding accomplishment, it tells only part of the story. Behind every win are countless hours of training, dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This team's success was built long before they stepped onto the field at Surf Cup.

Head Coach Gil reflected on what this championship truly means:

"People see the trophy, the medals, and the smiles. What they don't see are the countless hours of hard work, sacrifices, and the setbacks they had to overcome.

This championship wasn't won over one weekend. It was won in every practice, every sprint, every tackle, and every lesson learned from defeat. This trophy isn't the achievement—it is the symbol of everything that happened behind closed doors. It's simply the receipt for the countless hours of work that the world will never see.

We couldn't be more proud of this group! We look forward to watching these girls continue to grow not only as soccer players, but as teammates, leaders, and young women of character."

The GU11 Pre GA squad demonstrated resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to one another throughout their Surf Cup journey. Every player embraced the challenges of competition, supported their teammates through every moment, and competed with the passion and determination that define SoCal Reds FC.
