JACOB AND MINA
In honor and remembrance of Jacob and Mina, we have added their names to our jerseys.
As our players take the field, their names will be carried with us as we remember the boys,
the joy they brought to our club, and the place they hold in our SoCal Reds family.
Jacob Labib & Mina Sabet Day of Remembrance
This past weekend, the SoCal Reds family came together to remember Jacob Labib and Mina Sabet, two very special members of our club who were tragically lost one year ago while returning home from the Albion Pre-Season Elite Showcase in 2025. Jacob and Mina were members of our B11 Academy EA team, and their loss continues to be felt throughout our entire SoCal Reds family. As many of our teams returned to the Albion Pre-Season Elite Showcase and others competed in tournaments throughout the region, teams across the club honored Jacob and Mina with a brief moment of silence before kickoff, bringing players, coaches, opponents, and referees together to remember two young lives that touched our soccer community. Jacob Labib and Mina Sabet will always be part of our SoCal Reds family, and we are grateful to everyone who helped keep their memory alive and honor their legacy this past weekend.
